An update to come!

I really need to post an update on Braylie and all the things she is doing now!!! WOW! I promise that either today or tomorrow I will post some new pictures of all of this and record all the crazy wonderful things that our little miss has been up to. For now I'm busy with something else and her naps are only so long... haha Talk to you soon!

Halloween

So our Halloween was a little crazy this year. We had a Halloween party at the Toonestead in Blackfoot and it was AWESOME (as usual)! And, as usual, Payden's brother Erin and his wife Utahna's costumes along with their children are THE ONES TO BEAT! They were Shrek and Fiona and the fairy god mother and the half dragon half donkey. Not that we have a contest or anything but seriously... they are awesome and Utahna makes them all by hand. It's not even that she just sews them, it's all the work and detail she puts into them to make them look EXACTLY like who they are dressing up as. You would think the characters shipped off their costumes to them for the use of them for Halloween. Seriously awesome! Anyway, the party was great! Mom and dad dressed up as cows :) Linzie was a good looking witch and her little boy Maxamus (sp. not sure how she spells it) was a gladiator. His mom sewed his AMAZING costume too and he was adorable in it!!! Payden and I were Peter Pan and wendy and Braylie was Tinker bell. Will was a hick (fit perfectly :) just kidding will :) ) and Kristy was the main girl off of Hairspray. Their kids dressed up too and Aubrey was a batarina :) haha Hali was an angel, Blake was a cowboy on a horse :) and little gauge was a nome haha complete witht the beard and hat and all! :) Everyone looked so goo and we had a lot of fantastic food and a really good time! :)

The sad part of this story is that we had ordered our camera off line and it hadn't gotten in yet before the party. So... we have no pictures of the super fun annual Toone Halloween party except for pictures that other people took during the night. :( We did however get our camera in the next day so on Monday Payden and I and Braylie got dressed up again and took some pictures outside of our apartment. So this really is the day after Halloween and not at a party or anything but I really wanted to get some pictures of my own. So here you are! Enjoy! :)

My camera FINALLY arrived today!! After an incident I had back in August of losing my camera on a four wheeler ride down in the river bottoms by Payden's parents house, I have a camera again! I feel whole. :)

I have really missed being able to take pictures of Braylie, and I have also missed documenting and sharing our family events and photos on here with you. :)

So hopefully if there will be more picture updates in the near future and updates in general. :)

Oh also, My blog was having SERIOUS ISSUES!!! I mean serious! And the willing Meagan Bodily Bigger came to my RESCUE!!! She spent a long time pulling out her hair over my little friend the blog and got it to finally participate and do what it's told. One little setting, who knew it could mess things up so much! I want to just say a HUGE THANK YOU to Meagan!!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!

After thinking about it for a minute....

I remembered something that Braylie learned to do recently! About a week ago she learned where mom's nose is (even though she still doesn't know where her own nose is) and she learned where her teeth are. Yesterday she learned where her tongue is and let's just say it is soooo cute when she shows you with a nose wrinkle little smile and her tiny little tongue sticking out. Payden and I love it. haha She also knows the word shoes and automatically looks at her feet. She has waved at people forever but associated it with the word hi or bye and now I can say, "wave you hand," and she will wave :) She also knows how to "Bring it to mom"/"can Mom have it Braylie?"

Let's see Let's see.... Lately she has been "cooking"... she will get one of my tupperware and get one of her favorite spoons or spatulas from my utensil drawer and she will sit there and stir her imaginary food forever! It's so cute and it keeps her entertained for a good amount of time.

Long awaited update

So It's been a while... sorry for that. We have traveled A LOT this summer but i actually think that it has finally come to the end. It was a BLAST but I have to say.... it's really nice to just be home!
I lost my camera so there probably won't be picture updates for a while and if there is then they will be off my phone and not great quality.
So Braylie got on a new sippy cup this week and I'm really excited that she is no longer on a soft nipple :) She is becoming a big girl! :) As far as what else Braylie is doing... she now loves her baby doll and other stuffed animals. She totes them around the house and gives them hugs and kisses. :) She is here and there on eating and that's something that we are working on. If anyone has good ideas for food good for toddlers.. LET ME KNOW!!!!!!!!!!! Please leave a comment with your thoughts! I really need help on this topic. She already eats like a little bird and I have a hard time coming up with different things to feed her instead of the same old same old. Another thing is that Payden and I don't really eat during the day much so sometimes I just don't think about feeding her and give her milk instead. It's a really bad habit I have formed. As for all of our traveling... I am supposed to be getting pictures from my brother and sister-in-law sometime this week so i'll update you on all of that later. :)

Braylie is currently cutting her 7th tooth! :) She has been a little grumpier with this tooth but I still think she handles getting teeth really really well!!!! She is also in the process of moving to a different scheduale. She recently decided that she wanted to have only one to two naps a day instead of three to four and to also go to bed earlier. This all fine and dandy to me except the effects of these choices. The outcome is that she now get up at like 8 830 in the morning. Which isn't bad at all but where I was used to her waking up and 930 at the earliest and often until 1030 or sometimes 11. That was the life. And this would be fine I just need to get used to it and get her on a specific routine. :)
She now says buh bye and will say hi dad. Mostly she says these things on her own free will and not when prompted but it's something. And this girl LOVES to Dance!!! :) It's so cute! Payden and I absolutely love watching her. She mimics things really really well to down to actions or sounds or words we say. With words she just makes the sound of the tone we were using and the pitch. It's funny. :) We are so in love with our little girl and each day in an adventure watching her learn and grow!

2 Years!

2 years ago today Payden and I got Married and Sealed in the Rexburg, Idaho temple. It has been a very full two years with lots of things happening! We even have a 1 year old in all that time. Holy Cow! haha Life is wonderful and perfect being married to a man that I love love LOVE so incredibly much! I have been so blessed and continue to be each day with a life full of happiness. I love you Payden. You are my Mr now and forever. Thank you for all you do and for loving me so deeply and giving my your eternity.

1 Year Old!

Here are the pictures from Braylie's one year old photo session. She was pretty good. Not that happy though and just wanted to play instead of sit still. Overall she was good and I am so happy with how the photos turned out!!! Her hair drives me crazy with some of the headbands but its my fault for seeing it during the session and thinking it wouldn't be that bad and not fixing it. Oh well. haha

Always learning!!!

Last Saturday night Braylie learned how to drink out of a straw!!! I know this is kinda lame as far a milestones but we were pretty excited that she can do it now. It's not perfected yet... she leaks fluid when she swallows about 50% of the time but its a start. :)

AND... she will now drink her whole milk without flavoring it with chocolate or strawberry nesquik. That's so nice too! :)

This weekend we are going to palisades with Payden's family and then heading straight to my parents for a week before they head off to Alaska. I'm so excited to have time to spend with Payden and our families! Should be a great vaca with a lot of boating with both fams! I can't wait!

Summertime water fun!

Rexburg has a pretty cool Splash Park at Porter Park really close to our apartments and Braylie loves playing there! She has always loved water, bathing, playing and drinking it! Here she is basically doing all three! haha

The Friday of 4th of July weekend, we wanted to go to Bear Lake with Payden's brother's family really bad but just couldn't get ready to go on such late notice and with Payden being in school. So Payden took Braylie and I out to the Sand Dunes in Saint Anthony instead where they have a little lake thing. It was fun and Bray loved the sand.. :) Mom and Dad had fun Playing in it to! :) Here are the pics:

So Behind!

I have been awful lately at updating and putting new posts up. I don't even want to get into how behind I am on pictures. Yuck. So I promise here in the next couple days I will have a huge post that will be annoyingly long but very needed. In the meantime,
Braylie started walking!!! I know I've posted about this briefly but she has really gotten pretty good! Being around her older cousins really helps I think. She also turned 1 YEARS OLD last Friday!!!! I can hardly believe it but it must be true! Now her milestones will be saying different words and being able to communicate better :) She is so stinkin cute and I swear I love her that much more every day! She is pretty busy though and sometimes that can be a lot to handle but I love it. I seriously don't even understand why I go to church anymore. That is probably the worst place for her at this age because she needs to sit still and be quiet and the only time that happens is when she is sleeping which she will only do at home in her bed. NOT in Mom's arms. ugh Oh well, it's a stage and another 6 months and she will be in nursery :) or at least she'll be allowed into nursery... haha

This last weekend we went to Montan and went camping and Payden had his football game and then my parents and sister and her family are coming this weekend for Braylie's birthday party and to visit. :) I can't wait! I'll try and get up to date before they come so after they leave I can post birthday photos and pics of the weekend! See ya soon.... hopefully!

We've got a WALKER!!!!

Today Payden and I were just talking in the living room and Bray was playing on the floor and just stands up and is playing with her toy completely unsupported. She sits down and repeats two more times. Payden and I are both like... "Braylie you could so walk! What's your problem? Let's practice!" So we get on opposite ends and start calling to her and see if she will do it and all of a sudden she just TAKES OFF! And of course we get SUPER UPER EXCITED and start getting all motivating to her and praising her and continue to have her practice. Soon it wasn't practice at all and she just started doing!!! :) She is such a sweet little girl and is so much fun! We were SO proud of her at that moment and were so filled with love and joy! Payden and I both are pretty smitten with that cute little thing. Here's the best part though... THE VIDEOS! :)

Summer Nights!

Payden is such a man and is always hot in bed at night so in the summer he thinks it is ideal to sleep outside! We've done it once in our apartment and it was actually the night before I had Braylie. So last night we did it again. It worked out really nice actually cause Braylie has been sleeping through the night and we just took our monitor out there in case she did wake up. Sure enough last night she slept 10 hours straight and then back to bed after a bottle for another 3 hours. :)

Anyway, Payden was in Heaven and I have to say, it was much better this year not being 9 months pregnant and already kinda being in labor but not really knowing it haha :) Here are some pics and a pic of Payden playing our favorite game together!

More & More & MORE Football!

Payden had a football game in Ogden Utah on Saturday and WON! :) It kinda seems like football is running on and on and on... BUT... they are now in the Championship game in two weeks and then it will be over. Except the All-Star game which his two brothers made it to and are not attending. haha we are all kinda done with football. But at the last game there was a sand box for the kids to play in that was also in the only shade out there! It was perfect. It took me a min but I did finally realize that it wasn't really a sand box put there just for us in that hot hot day so the kids would have something to do but it was actually the pit for the Long Jump in track. Nonetheless though we really appreciated it and the kids loved it. I have to say I didn't let Braylie play very long in it, I drew the line when she started eating it and grabbing handfuls of sand and rubbing her eyes cause she was tired. But she liked it so here are some pics of her and her cousins!
