Progress!!!

Ok, so this post may be lame to pretty much everyone but myself and family who understand how bad of a time Braylie has had in Nursery. But I am thrilled about her progress yesterday!! She had a hard time like always when we we first went in but I told her I would stay and play with her for a little bit. So I dumped my bag, kicked off the heels, and tucked my dress around my legs and on the floor we played. She likes puzzles so i grabbed one of those and she started to calm down a little bit. She was still really worried I would leave but she started to play with the puzzle and was acting better. I played with her for a few min and then told her I needed to go and find Daddy and I'll be back in 10 min. I made sure she looked at me and I told her a couple times to make sure she knew what was going on. I got up to leave and naturally she started crying and was really sad but one of the workers took her and then I left. I came back in 10 min and when I peeked in the window she was doing so good! She wasn't crying and she wasn't having to be held. I really didn't even want to go in and ruin how well she was doing but I told her I would be back and I wanted her to have confidence that I would be.
When I went back in she started crying. I swear everything is worse when mom is finally there.( I used to do the same thing if Kim and Ashley hurt me. When mom came, it suddenly hurt so much worse!) But I played with her for a few min and calmed her down and then I told her it was time for me to go find Daddy again. She was a little less dramatic this time I left and she seemed to understand where I was going. In between classes I checked on her and she was sitting at the table eating snacks and being good all by herself! I got a thumbs up from the nursery worker and I went to class not even worrying about her for like the first time!!!

When I picked her up she wasn't even crying either! Even though the other parents were there to pick up their kids (which usually makes her cry really hard cause she wants to be picked up too) She wined a little bit when she saw me to tell me "how bad it was" and then she was happy and fine. And she was really proud of her picture she colored.(barely) haha
Needless to say... a MUCH better Sunday in nursery rather then crying and screaming pretty much the entire time. I'm so grateful that she is doing better. It is such a big relief! Here's to hoping that by the time Traetyn gets here, she'll be really good and actually ENJOY going to nursery!!! :)

Pictures and Videos of Braylie

Here are some pictures and videos of Braylie that I have taken in the last month. It's all pretty random but I thought I'd put them up for the sake of my journal keeping that I'm trying to become better at. Here ya go!

Braylie watching a show in our bed while I was cleaning the bedroom and bathroom. And of course right after I make the bed she has to pull the covers up on her. haha :)
Sucking on her shirt while watching a show

She loves to play in Traetyn's bassinet since we put it in her room. She usually just likes to sit and read a book or play with her babies and blankies in there and pretend to put them "night night" but sometimes she thinks that she needs to go "night night" and that she needs her "num num" (sippy). I really thought she might actually take her nap in there this day cause she really was tired, but it didn't last long. Probably cause I kept checking on her too to make sure she stayed laying down and didn't stand up in it. She did, and in her crib she went.

Daddy and story time: In this pic she has her hand to her mouth cause lately when we ask her to point something out in the story she says, "um, hmmmm" and on the hmmm she puts her hand to her mouth like this. It's really funny. There is a video later of it but she isn't doing it very good. OF COURSE! haha

Pointing out the sun ;)

She obviously loves this book. She was reading it in the bathroom right after we got home with her blankie, but I grabbed the camera and she moved.

She loves sitting here! She'll bring books or babies and blankets to rock a bye them. It's funny. She can't quite sit on it very good all the way but she makes due. :)
(I think I helped her up on this one. Usually her bum is on the very edge)

She put her shopping cart up on the coffee table and thought that she needed to sit in it. Mom and Dad weren't too pleased with this decision but I had to get a pic before we made her get down. Cute, but not safe.
This video is of Braylie dancing. She had been doing it for so long before that she is a little burnt out in the video but she loves to dance!

Daddy making Braylie laugh. She was laughing so much harder before we got the camera. The pause to get the camera kinda pulled her out of her mood but it's still cute.

This video is kinda gross haha but I know Ash will want to see it. So I might take it off after she's been able to watch it. It's of Braylie giving the baby kisses in my belly.

her umm... hmmmm in her story book

30 WEEKS DOWN...

...9 1/2 TO GO!!

I am now 30 weeks and 2 days along in this pregnancy. It has seriously been so smooth and easy so far! I am so grateful for that too, cause with a crazy active toddler running around the house, I'm not sure I could stand to be nasty sick all the time. My biggest complaint is all the pelvis and hip pain that I have had but, it's not as bad as it could be. So my next appointment is the 29th of this month and then I'll start going every two weeks for only two visits and then every week. CRAZY!

What's even CRAZIER is that my sister Ashley is only two weeks away from her due date and could literally have her baby this week! And then I could possibly see her in like 3 weeks!!! And her precious little boy Lincoln! :) Ahhh!!! I can't wait for her!!! :)

Braylie Video

Braylie learned the word Go, so we thought we would take video of her saying it and some other words she knows. (During dinner so excuse the mess.)

Caldwell Trip

Last week we decided to make a trip home to Caldwell. We all badly needed haircuts and Braylie needed diapers so it was a good excuse to go home and to make a trip to costco. :) We left Thursday night after Payden got home from work and we stayed till Sunday after church. It is always so nice to go home! And the trip there seemed to go by really fast too even though Braylie didn't sleep the entire way.

Friday Crystal and I took the kids shopping all day and got our hair cut. Let me tell you... when it gets to be 4 in the afternoon and the kids have been running errands with you all day without a nap and you want to go to one last store to do your biggest shopping for the day, it turns into a nightmare. Getting out of the stroller and running around and not letting you hold them or put them back into the stroller. Running out of the store with bracelets on etc. Let's just say that we decided next time we'll take Grandma so she can watch the kids and take them out of the store while we shop.

But even with all that I did get Braylie quite a bit of clothes for the up coming season. No shorts or anything so there will still be more shopping but it was a start for spring!

Saturday we went to a place called Bounce and let the kids and the Dad's play on all of the big blow up toys and then we went to lunch. Braylie had some how gotten a hold of a tiny piece of deoderant that was on the floor that morning and ate it so right before we get to Bounce, she throws up all over the car and carseat and herself. Luckily Grandma had some little pants we were going to take back that she was able to wear. I'm glad her body rejected it though and it didn't harm her!

Grandma Harry bought her Easter outfit while we were there too so she wanted some pics of Braylie in it in case she doesn't see her in it again. So here are those and other random pics from the weekend.

Driving the car with Daddy! (in the parking lot already parked. No we don't let her drive haha)

She had her arm around him right before I took the pic. But these two are cute. Looking at the dog of course!

She was carrying her blankie, baby and sippy around grandma's and decided to have a picnic in the kitchen. Some milk for the baby...

And some for me. :)These were actually taken at home before we left. I was trying to get a picture of her cause she had on my high heels with just a shirt and no pants and was pushing her baby around in its stroller. But of course, as soon as I get the camera she runs away and stops doing it. So I took these instead.

28 weeks and Braylie update

I have finally reached my 3rd trimester! I say finally but really this pregnancy has gone by pretty fast. Faster then the first at least. At my last check up I had my gestational diabetes test that I passed with flying colors so the nurse said. :) I was actually a little worried about this test. This pregnancy all I have been wanting to eat is candy bars and junk food. And Kettle corn popcorn!!! :) So that was really good news that I passed!

We got to see our little man on the ultrasound at this appointment too!! :) I always love seeing the babies on there before they come out! It makes it all so much more real! And... HE'S STILL A BOY! He was being a bit shy at first so the doctor was a little worried for a minute but he's still all man! :)

Also we have officially decided on his name. He will be Treyton Payden Toone. I can't wait for him to get here! Seems like it will never come but it's only 3 months away! Crazy!

As for Braylie, she has been having bowl problems for quite a while now but the last month they kinda have gotten worse and all over the place as far as regularity and consistency. So last week we took her into the doctor and he took 3 vials of blood from our sweet little girl to do a bunch of lab tests to rule our any bowl disease or other serious things that could be going on. Monday we got her results and everything came back normal except for her liver. The blood results for that came back high. So the doctor said we will just watch her for the next few weeks and test her levels again in a month to make sure her liver has returned to normal. For now nothing serious is going on so that's good but we would really like to find the answer to all of her bowl problems!!! I'm not a fan of waiting forever but hopefully there will be some sort of results at the end of all of this and we can get Braylie feeling better! She's still a pretty happy girl.... most of the time... haha :)
(excuse the weird outfit and undone hair... all of her pants were in the wash and she wanted to wear a pretty. I just must have not gotten to the hair yet either. haha Oh well!)
